About Us

The Munster Junior Woman’s Club was organized and
federated in 1949 and incorporated in 1965.  Our club is part of the General Federation of Women's  Clubs and the Indiana  Federation of Clubs.  We have affiliations at the county, district, state, and international levels.  Our purpose is to join for mutual improvement of the individual and the community.   Our meetings and social events are a combination of raising funds, making new friends and associations, and learning new things about our community and other topics through participation and guest speakers.  We hope that all members will contribute their individual talents and resources towards meeting the club’s objectives each year.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and our goal is to raise funds for other 501(c)(3) organizations and to serve our local community. We meet monthly during the school year to plan and organize fundraisers. Our meetings are held in members' homes. We also volunteer when the community has an immediate need and on a regular basis. We sometimes take up collections for those in need.

Fundraising/Service Projects

This year we plan to have cheesecake, BUNCO, scrapbook, and candlelight bowling fundraisers.  Check our calendar for event dates.  You might see us at the fire department open house, walking for cancer research, delivering meals for Meals on Wheels, or helping out at Fair Haven's Hope for the Holidays or at the NWI Food Bank.
