The Munster Junior Woman’s Club celebrated its biggest Quarter Auction yet on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, welcoming more than 250 guests to Cloister in the Woods in Munster for an evening of fundraising, fun, and community spirit!
This year’s Fall Quarter Auction featured more than 80 auction items generously donated by local businesses and club members. Guests enjoyed the excitement of bidding on baskets and prizes while helping MJWC raise funds to support local nonprofits, community organizations, and service projects throughout the year.
For the first time, the club embraced a full Halloween theme, adding a festive twist to this popular annual fundraiser. From creatively named auction baskets to costumes worn by members and guests, the Halloween spirit was everywhere! Guests who dressed up also had opportunities to win special door prizes, making the evening even more entertaining.
In addition to the auction, MJWC held a 50/50 raffle benefiting Honor Flight Chicago, an organization dedicated to honoring veterans by bringing them to Washington, D.C., to visit the memorials built in their honor.
Guests also generously donated hats and gloves for the North Township Trustee’s winter clothing assistance program, helping provide warm clothing and accessories to individuals and families in need throughout the region.
The evening was also an opportunity to introduce guests to the Munster Junior Woman’s Club and the work we do in our community. We were especially excited to welcome a new member who joined during the event!
A heartfelt thank-you to our generous donors, dedicated club members, volunteers, and everyone who attended. Your continued support makes this event such a success year after year and allows MJWC to continue making a difference in our community.
We can’t wait to do it again next year!
