Creativity, Kindness & Connection

Some club meetings are all about business. Others remind us why we joined in the first place.

This month, Munster Junior Woman’s Club members gathered for an evening of creativity, service, and friendship. While catching up with one another, we painted colorful rocks that will be hidden throughout Munster parks for local children and families to discover. We hope each little surprise brings a smile to someone exploring our community.

We also spent time coloring Cards of Hope for Phil’s Friends, an organization that provides Christ-centered support to individuals facing cancer through Care Packages, monthly Cards of Hope, encouragement, and prayer. Every hand-colored card will become part of a message of hope sent to someone who could use a little extra encouragement.

Of course, one of the best parts of the evening was simply spending time together. Between the conversation, laughter, and shared projects, it was a wonderful reminder that service and friendship go hand in hand.

We’re looking forward to seeing where our painted rocks are found—and knowing that our Cards of Hope will brighten someone’s day.
